Rodeo teams second in season opener
The NWC rodeo team began the season with an impressive performance. Both the men’s and women’s team placed second overall in a field of seven teams in their first meet in Cody on Sept. 6 and 7.  The tournament was to begin on Friday night at the Cody Stampede arena outdoors, but soft turf after heavy rain cancelled that performance.

Polish up those spurs - NWC Rodeo Gala is Saturday, Feb. 2
P O W E L L, W y o. ─ It's become a tradition for the Northwest College Rodeo Council to host a fund-raising gala each year. Confirming that the ritual is alive and well, the council once again invites the Big Horn Basin to its annual Rodeo Gala Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Cody Auditorium. This year's celebration marks the 10th annual gala.
