Currently Senior Vice President at Pinnacle Bank in Cody, WY, Mark Westerhold brings 30 years of business and banking experience to his position as a trustee. An alumnus who had a great experience at NWC, two of his children also attended Northwest. With a long and varied legal career, Cody native John Housel is a devout proponent of higher learning. He is a strong advocate for greater presence of NWC in Cody and for increased enrollment of Cody students. He is an outdoor enthusiast with interests in civic betterment, history, geology and Shakespeare. After a 19-plus-year career with Microsoft, Rick LaPlante and his family moved to Powell in 2006. Today he’s Managing Member of Triple L Cattle LLC. He also sits on boards of directors for several private companies and provides leadership and business consulting to software and agricultural operations. Carolyn Danko came to Powell in 1969 when her husband began teaching at Northwest. After retiring from four decades of public school teaching, she remained involved in education by seeking a Board seat. Paul Fees was Senior Curator at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center for 20 years and now is an independent historian. He earned his B.A. at Stanford University in history and his M.A. and Ph.D. at Brown University. His association with NWC began 30 years ago as an adjunct instructor, and his interest in and regard for the college have continued to grow.

A retired secondary math/science teacher, Nada Larsen is a Meeteetse native and proud NWC graduate. She strongly supports the community college system in Wyoming and is committed to the mission of NWC. NWC has been part of Jim Vogt’s life since 1967 when he became Student Center Director and taught math. A strong advocate for students and employees, his service continued after his 1997 retirement when he joined the Board in 2002 and was re-elected in 2012 after a two-year hiatus.
