NWC Skills Certificate
Overview
Successful completion of the Photographic & Digital Preservation Specialist certificate program, will signify the students' perfection of a variety of digital imaging and restoration skills. The combination of proficiencies in digital imaging and photographic preservation techniques creates a unique set of abilities and knowledge required for employment by museums, libraries and various organizations throughout the country. The basic goal of this certificate program is for students to learn the necessary technical skills and aesthetic sensibilties required for a professional career in digital preservation and restoration. Ethics of digital imaging restoration will be stressed throughout the entire program.
